Easy Nature
Sunset hills
A gradient sky, a glowing sun and a wavy dark horizon.
How this challenge works
You write a fragment shader that draws the picture above, live in your browser. A match bar shows how close you are, and the score combines accuracy, code size (the par is 392 characters in Unity (Built-in)) and GPU speed. Work in HLSL, GLSL, WGSL, Metal or Godot and export the result when you are done.
The numbers you need
- Sky
lerp(float3(1.0,0.45,0.2), float3(0.2,0.1,0.4), uv.y)- Sun
center float2(0.0, -0.05), radius 0.2 (edge 0.2 → 0.205), float3(1.0, 0.9, 0.5)- Hills
below y = 0.28 + 0.05 * sin(uv.x * 7.0), float3(0.08, 0.05, 0.12)
Solve it in your language
