Hard NatureAnimated
Drifting clouds
Blue sky, white fbm clouds drifting to the right.
How this challenge works
You write a fragment shader that draws the picture above, live in your browser. A match bar shows how close you are, and the score combines accuracy, code size (the par is 813 characters in Unity (Built-in)) and GPU speed. Work in HLSL, GLSL, WGSL, Metal or Godot and export the result when you are done.
The numbers you need
- Cloud space
float2(uv.x * aspect, uv.y) * 3.0 + float2(time * 0.15, 0.0)- Cloud amount
smoothstep(0.45, 0.85, fbm(...))- Sky
lerp(float3(0.55,0.78,1.0), float3(0.2,0.45,0.85), uv.y)- Cloud color
white
Helper functions provided
